Sun was out today , went for a long walk, felt good. Got some work done in studio.
Not sure what I'm doing today.

Rainey Days again

Were going to a movie today, dont know yet what movie, we need escape from dark studio and house. Its escapeism.

I wonder whether art has a higher function than to make me feel, appreciate and enjoy natural abjects for their art value. So, as I walk in the garden, I look at flowers and shrubs and trees and discover in them an exquisiteness of contour, a vitality of edge, or a vigor of spring as well as an infinite variety of color that no artifact I have seen in the last sixty years can rival. Each day, as I look, I wonder where my eyes were yesterday.

'A REMINDER, THE IMPERIOR ISANT WEARING ANY CLOTHES'

M/M on canvas, 48"X 36". This is from my Black & White series started last year. I call these Tex Paintings. I like using tex, old sayings both classic & contemporary. Always attracted to street art, good graffiti, pop culture. the street artist BANKSY is a good example.
I want to do more narrative work but not sure how its received.

New Paintings called 'NOT ALL WHITE' at right.

New work in progress, I've been in the studio every day, have about 5 pieces going . I think I'll be talking to myself soon, but its a good crazy.
I miss Tessie under my feet.
I hope to inter the white piece in a upcoming exhibition soon. We shall see.
